Another club debate organized by Executive Club, entitled “The Polish conquest of global markets”, will take place on May 18, 2017 in Warsaw. This time the invited experts will focus on the issue of the Polish export, which is of great importance to the Polish economy.
Poles are no geese – they have… export of their own? Despite the uncertain economic situation, Polish companies continue investing and even conduct acquisitions abroad. The last decade brought about dynamic growth in the number and value of investments made by Polish companies outside Poland. Made in Poland is becoming a well-known label all around the world, and success on local markets is no longer enough for domestic entrepreneurs. This caused many new questions to arise in business, asked both by those who have already started their expansion as well as by those who are planning to offer their products or services to the world. As a result of transformation, the structure of the Polish market is changing for the better, we are exporting more and more highly processed and modern materials. According to the Kronenberg Foundation, 65% of large, 47% of medium, and 25% of small companies are exporting abroad, 39% of which are already planning to enter new foreign markets. The goal of the meeting is a discussion on the future of the Polish export, the expansion of Polish companies abroad, as well as the legal aspects and best financing models for their global development.
The issues discussed during the “Polish conquest of global markets” debate will include the following: global expansion of domestic companies, optimum security of the export process, economic relationships between Poland and the Middle East, and main Polish export goods.
