Cloud is the new black? Another club debate organized by Executive Club, entitled “Business in Cloud. New technologies and company effectiveness”, will take place on 23 March 2017 in Warsaw and will focus on the hot topic of implementing cloud technologies in companies.

 The year 2016 showed how important the continuous availability of services and data really is. In 2017 companies will have to accommodate growing customer expectations and guarantee uninterrupted provision of services. The cloud will be in the focus of the meeting. Renowned specialists will try to answer all the questions baffling both the entrepreneurs who moved their businesses to the cloud and those who are planning to do so.

The aim of the debates organized by Executive Club is to promote the exchange of the latest knowledge among Polish entrepreneurs, facilitating their development. Expert discussion on the cloud, a state-of-the-art technology emerging on the Polish market, will constitute the basis for the development of innovation in Polish companies.

 

The participants of the debate will include: Robert Kroplewski – Expert – Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Digital Affairs for Information Society, Piotr Januszewicz – Director of the Department of Cyber Security at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Roman Szwed – President of the Management Board of Atende S.A., Kamil Kurowski – Technology Country Leader, Oracle, Magdalena Dziewguć – Head of Google for Work CEE, Google Poland, Piotr Paszczyk – President of the Management Board of APN Promise S.A., prof. dr hab. Piotr Płoszajski – Head of the Department of Management Theory at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Paweł Filipowicz – Director of IBM Global Business Services, IBM Poland.

 

During the debate, the participants will address issues such as: data security, outlook for the development of new technologies in small enterprises, digitization, advantages and disadvantages of implementing cloud technologies in companies, and methods for assessing the risk of implementing technological solutions in business.
