The discussion will be focused on the current topic of the lack of adjustment of the Polish educational system to the job market and the need for cooperation between business and educational facilities. Why is it the case that despite the growing number of students in Poland, there is still not enough graduates prepared for performing specific work? The lack of adjustment of the educational structure to the needs of the job market results in economic losses amounting to PLN 12 billion. What should be done to increase the number of candidates with adequate qualifications applying to companies, and what do the representatives of business expect of the graduates and universities?

Representatives of Polish management staff will discuss the recipe for improving the cooperation between universities and business, the ways in which business may assist in the education of the best staff and participate in the preparation of students to professional work, as well as whether the world of business is capable of proposing new program solutions.

In the age of great competition, education and business should coexist in close symbiosis, as their cooperation seems to be indispensable to the proper functioning of the market.

The debate will be based on a short report prepared by Cigno Consulting, a company specialized in comprehensive personnel consulting, taking into account the suggestions and opinions of the Members of Executive Club.

The following speakers will participate in the meeting in May: Andrzej Koźmiński – President, Koźminski University, Roman Szwed – President of the Management Board, Atende, Edyta Ziajowska – Marketing Director, PayU, and, from the UK, John Ing – Director from The Dukes Education Group, British organization delivering high-quality education and admissions guidance to top universities

Jakub Kapiszewski, Journalist, „Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, will be the moderator of the meeting.

After the official debate with the Speakers, a club discussion will take place, during which all participants will be able to take the floor and present their solutions to everyone.

The meeting will be concluded by a networking part, providing all the guests with an opportunity to continue their conversations on a terrace over a glass of wine.
